The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have acquired non-import offensive lineman Marc Parenteau and a 2014 3rd round pick from the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for non-import running back Anthony Woodson and a 2014 5th round pick.

“Marc is a veteran Canadian offensive lineman who can play at multiple positions along the offensive line,” said Acting General Manager, Kyle Walters.  “We thank Anthony for his time in Winnipeg and wish him the best in Toronto.”

Parenteau (6-5, 304, Boston College, DOB: April 12, 1980 in Sherbrooke, Québec) returns to Winnipeg where he spent parts of two seasons as a member of the Blue Bombers, playing in 10 games across the 2005 and 2006 seasons.  After originally being drafted by the Ottawa Renegades in the fifth round (36th overall), Parenteau signed as a free agent with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2007 and became a starter on their offensive line before joining the Toronto Argonauts last season, starting 12 games.  Parenteau has played in 122 games over the course of his CFL career.

Woodson has played in 11 games since being drafted by the Blue Bombers in 2010.
