Rapini will observe the secondary
drills conducted by Riders’ secondary coach Barron Miles. Rapini will be on the
field and also attend secondary meetings Miles conducts.
Two former University of Calgary Dinos
will be at the Riders’ camp. Linebacker Sam Hurl begins his second year with
the team while Thomas Spoletini will be attending Riders camp as their 6th
round draft selection.
“I am grateful for the
Saskatchewan Roughriders for allowing me to observe and participate in their
training camp for the first three days,” states Rapini and is looking forward
to the experience.
A volunteer assistant coach,
Rapini is Vice-President of Marketing for Perpetual Energy Inc., and as been
the team’s secondary coach since 2006.
